In 2022, the Municipal Education Directorate in Berekum appealed to BKMCA to construct a BASIC SCHOOL for the children in Oforikrom. Oforikrom is a village in the Berekum Municipality, where children have to travel a long distance to Tain District to access primary education. With permission from the Municipal Assembly, the BCA graciously agreed to build the school for the children in Oforikrom.

The project is estimated to cost about GHS 500,000. So far, BKMCA has spent a little over one hundred Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHS 200,000.00) on the project which is about 65% complete. 

BKMCA needs support to complete the school for the children before the next academic year (September 2023).
